It gives me immense pleasure to present before you this website www.olassakudumbam.com ,  a digital repository and living archive of our family's rich heritage. This platform is a continuation of the efforts started with the publication of our family history book in Malayalam in 2003. The website covers  Kudumba Charithram (family history) translated into English and made accessible for the benefit of our wider family across the globe, a few of them especially of the  new generation  who may have difficulty in reading Malayalam script..

The Family Tree of the website has the advantage of selecting a member name,  going to his profile and clicking on the name  going to the profiles of the children, parents, grand parents , great grand parents and so on. The website has the advantage of easy updation of one’s profile  when changes occur in the member status  ie.education,  job, spouse details when married  and add new members when births take place in the family..

This website brings together various aspects of our family's legacy, glimpses into the lives of our ancestors , their dedicated service for our family and   for our community .It also mention the  past Presidents and Secretaries, whose leadership and guidance have helped to shape and sustain our Kudumba Sanghadana over the years.

After the success of publication of our family history book, an  idea of creating a  website for us was mooted by Sri Thomas  Michael, President who approached me to start working on this as I had gained experience in the publication of  our family history book. Having appreciated our Archdiocese website , I approached the concerned who guided me to Smt  Joice, Oleotech Solutions, Kottayam who designed the website for the diocese. A rough lay out was designed and  given to her  and various models were discussed and finalised one. Sri Thomas Michael supported me by collecting member details and  doing English translation of Family History book for few  alongwith me and taking part in the discussions.  My sincere thanks to Sri Thomas Michael who gave me a free hand and supported me in every stage   to make the website a reality. The design job was very well executed by Smt  Joice, Oleotech Solutions  in remarkable time.

Designed with care and affection, this website aims to serve as a source of information, inspiration, and connection for all present and future generations of our family. May it strengthen our bonds and encourage us to continue cherishing and preserving our shared legacy.
